The concept of AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) was pioneered in the mid-1920s by Dr. Johan Axel Eriksson, a Swedish architect and inventor, in collaboration with Professor Henrik Kreuger at the Royal Institute of Technology. Presently, AAC is manufactured in numerous developed countries worldwide, including India.
Klavetek AAC Blocks are composed of approximately 80% air. These aerated materials undergo a process called autoclaving, which involves curing the aerated materials under high pressure, resulting in the formation of cellular shapes known as AAC elements. These elements can be further categorized into blocks, wall/floor/roof panels, and lintels. Klavetek blocks possess exceptional strength and versatility, making them a viable alternative to traditional masonry in construction projects globally. Their advantages, such as being lightweight, providing thermal and sound insulation, resisting mold, and facilitating the construction process, contribute to their popularity. Our AAC Blocks offer remarkable workability, flexibility, and durability.
Klavetek AAC blocks lightweight nature reduces the dead load on structures, saving steel, concrete in high-rise buildings & overall labor & transport cost. The blocks' accurate surfaces minimize the need for plastering.
Klavetek AAC blocks, being 5-6 times larger than clay bricks, significantly reduce mortar joint requirements thus saving overall construction time.
Being 1/3rd in weight than clay bricks & having density of only 550-650 Kg/m3 to 2000 Kg/m3 of regular bricks, these lightweight blocks are easier to transport thus saving labor expenses & overall cost.
Klavetek AAC Blocks boast superior quality, offering exceptional strength, durability, thermal insulation, mold resistance, versatility and ease of construction.
